<p>The NextSense Auslan Tutor: Key Signs provides instruction on approximately 150 common Auslan signs, including expressions such as “please,” “thank you,” and “how are you?” Each sign is presented with clarity, featuring a high-quality photograph of the handshape necessary to form the sign, alongside a video clip demonstrating its production.</p>

<p>The application also incorporates the Auslan alphabet, enabling users to learn fingerspelling, as well as numbers from 0 to 10, supporting foundational communication skills.</p>

<p>Developed by staff at NextSense in collaboration with expert Auslan users, the NextSense Auslan Tutor: Key Signs offers a practical introduction for learners seeking to acquire basic Auslan vocabulary and gestures.</p>

<h2>Full Version</h2>
<p>For those seeking a more comprehensive grasp of Auslan, the full version of the NextSense Auslan Tutor is available for download on iPhone and iPod touch. This expanded edition encompasses over 500 Auslan signs, each accompanied by five detailed entries:</p>
<ul>
<li>A photograph of the relevant handshape used in forming the sign</li>
<li>A video clip illustrating the sign itself</li>
<li>A video demonstrating how the sign functions within a phrase</li>
<li>A video showing how the phrase integrates into a sentence</li>
<li>A text note detailing pertinent aspects of Auslan grammar related to the sign, phrase, or sentence</li>
</ul>

<p>These supplementary features are designed to deepen users' understanding of Auslan and enhance their practical usage.</p>

<p>The development of both the key signs and full version was undertaken by NextSense staff in partnership with experienced Auslan users, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.</p>
